How do I set up and issue complimentary tickets?

To set up complimentary tickets, you need to complete the following steps:

1. Go to the event you would like to set up complimentary tickets for.

2. Set up a new ticket type called “Complimentary Tickets”, make the price $0 and the quantity however many you wish to distribute

3. Click on the edit button next to the comp tickets and make the sale state "Not Visible to public." Otherwise customers will be able to see Complimentary Tickets from the public site!

To issue complimentary tickets, you need to complete the following steps:

1. Click the “Box Office” button in the side bar (see left hand column on event summary page).

2. The box office area allows you to issue tickets without entering a credit card.

3. Select Complimentary Tickets

4. Add the quantity

5. Click "Reserve tickets"

6. Enter the customers details (this can be your details if you want them sent to you, they won’t have names on them)

7. Click "Next"

8. An order confirmation page will appear, you can reference the transaction here. Under the Order details, once tickets have been sent the date and time will be displayed here (refresh browser if showing as unsent).
