How do I add a video to my event?

You can add a video to your event description - which will bring excitement to your listing and create intrigue.

Add a video to your event description

Videos that are added to your 'event description' will be displayed at each stage of the checkout process. You will need the HTML code for the video in order to embed it in your event listing. 

Html code can be found on youtube videos, click 'share' then 'embed' and copy the 'embed' code.

1. To add a video, copy the videos 'html code'.
2. Go into your event to the the 'listings details' page.
3. You will then see 'event description' as well as 'edit raw' underneath the text box. Click on this to enable 'raw' mode, allowing code to be input.
4. Paste the 'html text section' in this section in 'raw' mode. Make sure you are in raw mode and not rich mode when you copy and paste the HTML code.
5. To see how the video will look on the customer's end, you can then click into rich mode.
6. Hit save once the video has been successfully added.

Embedding YouTube videos

When you embed a video from youtube on your site, youtube requires that you use a link particularly designed for embedding. A link for watching a video is different and won't work. Follow the instructions here to get the correct code for embedding a YouTube video:
