How do I increase the capacity of my venue?
IWannaTicket will automatically prohibit the sale of any tickets if the number of tickets sold is equal to the capacity of your venue. This article will demonstrate how to edit your event so that you can continue to sell tickets once you have reached your venue capacity.
1. Go into the 'Venues' tab within your Account. Here you will see all of the venues that are set up in your account.
2. Click ‘Edit’ on the Venue that you want to increase the capacity for. In 'Sections List' on the left hand side of the page, you can change the address and increase the capacity of the venue.
Please note that a venue may have multiple sections so you must ensure that you are editing the correct section that is associated with the event.
3. Click the blue ‘Save’ button to ensure that your account updates. You will now be able to update the ticket availability to match the venue capacity you have set and keep selling.
