How do I set up my own dedicated subdomain?

Using your own dedicated domain

IWannaTicket gives you a free subdomain name which is great if you don't have your own website. You can also use this feature to link directly from your website.

To set up your subdomain, simply enter it into the field called “URL prefix name” under Account Settings under the Account  tab.

To see your event listing, go to the URL https://your-domain-name.iwannaticket.com.au and replace your-domain-name with your company or event name that you entered in the “URL prefix name” field.

For example, if your company's name is Red hot events, once your event has been set up and ready for sale, please direct your customers to your subdomain, for example:

https://redhotevents.iwannaticket.com.au

This is the main link people will use to find your event, and can be shared on social media, etc.

Linking from your own website

If you have your own website, we suggest using a BUY NOW button on your website which links to your subdomain. Here is some code for a BUY NOW button, in case you need some:

<ahref="INSERT YOUR LINK HERE" style="padding:5px 10px 5px 7px;border:1px solid #dedede;border-top:1px solid #eee;border-left:1px solid #eee;background-color:#f5f5f5;font-family:Tahoma, Arial, Verdana,sans-serif;line-height:130%;text-decoration:none;font-weight:bold;color:#565656;cursor:pointer;">BUY NOW</a>

If you have multiple events, we recommend you add an EVENTS tab on your website which links to your subdomain, as all of your events be listed at this address.

If you require any further assistance, please get in touch via support@iwannaticket.com.au and your Account Manager will be able to provide additional information.
