Advanced Reports

IWannaTicket hosts excellent reporting functionality for those who require high-class reporting about their events. This article demonstrates how to export some of the main Advanced Reports to extract data about your events. 

How to create a Daily Sales Comparison report? 

The Daily Sales report compares the event revenue by day, from one event to another. 

To use these reports, first login to your account.

Edit the URL below by inserting the event ID number for your [ID:Current event] - [ID:Previous event], put the link into your browser and hit enter to generate the report. You can find an event id by going to your Summary page for an event and looking at the URL.

This report compares event revenue by 'Days to go' until the last Event Date of each event. It includes daily and cumulative totals along with the percentage change to the previous event. It is useful for comparing sales patterns and total sales (in $) the same number of days from an annual event year on year.

How to create a Daily Sales Comparison by Ticket Type report in order to compare the number of tickets sold? 

Use the same Event ID procedure listed above, however paste figures into the below link:

The report shows:

• The total number of tickets sold for each ticket type for the current event as at the time you generate the report.
• The percentage change in sales from the previous event.
• The total number of tickets sold for each ticket type for the previous event.

It is helpful for seeing how the current event sales by ticket type are tracking against the total sold from the previous event.

Note: The ticket names must be identical for both events. Tip: If you have changed the ticket names in the current event, the previous ticket names can be edited to match the current event for comparison.

How to create the Daily Sales Comparison by Ticket Type report for the same sales period?

To use these reports, first login to your account. Edit the URL above  by inserting the event ids* for Current event and previous event, put the link into your browser and hit enter to generate the report.

This report is the same as above but adjusts the prior event figures to show the number of sales which had been made from the same number of days out from the current event rather than the total sold for the previous event. 

The report shows:

• the total number of tickets sold for each ticket type for the current event as at the time you generate the report.
• the percentage change in sales from the previous event.
• The number of tickets sold for each ticket type for the previous event the same number of days out from the current event (as at the time you generate the report). 

This is helpful for seeing how the current event sales by ticket type are tracking against the total sold at the same number of days out from the previous  event.
