How can I customise the look of my event listing?

IWannaTicket has a number of options for you to create an event listing that reflects your companies branding. You can add images to the event listing, you account and even your tickets. This allows your customers to recognise your event from the buying process to the door. 


After navigating to your event from a direct link or your dedicated IWT subdomain, the first thing a customer sees above all the functional widgets, will be the banner, hero image, description and background of your event, as shown below.

1) Account Wide Banner Image - 1120 x 180px

This image is set per account, and as such will appear on all events. It can be changed from the "Account" tab, under "Customisation".

2) Hero Image - 250 x 325px

Specific to the event, this image can be changed under "Listing Details" for the relevant event.

3) Background Image and Colour

IWannaTicket allows users to upload an account-wide default background image, as well as set event specific backgrounds which will automatically override the account default.

For this reason, the "Background Image" field appears in multiple places:

  • Account-wide background images can be set from the "Account" tab, under "Customisation"
    • From this page, a default Background Colour may additionally be set. This will appear if no image is set. You can get the colour from your branding here or pick a colour here.
  • Event specific background images can be set under "Listing Details" on the relevant event.

4) Event Abstract

Although not present in the example, the red outline demonstrates where an event abstract would be placed if it had been configured.

The abstract can be changed under "Listing Details" for the relevant event and accepts plain text.

5) Event Description

The event description is displayed at the bottom of the event page, underneath the ticket purchasing widget. This field accepts advanced HTML formatting, allowing formatted text, images or even videos to be displayed here.

The event description can be edited under "Listing Details" on the relevant event.
